The Shademother is a hagraven who can be found at her haven in Western Skyrim.

Shadow Bolt: A basic ranged attack.
Spectral Push: The Shademother conjures energy into her hands and pushes it at you, dealing high damage and knocking them backward. This can be blocked, which turns the knockback into a simple stagger.
Summon Undead: The Shademother throws a bolt of energy at the ground, which causes a Skeletal Dire Wolf to burst out.
Empower Undead: The Shademother raises her hand and casts a magical link to nearby allies, increasing their attack power and defense. She can be interrupted during this.
Natural Barrier: The Shademother summons Nature's Preservation, a ring of thorny thicket, which surrounds her. Touching the barrier deals moderate damage and knocks you away and down (and Break Free cannot be used to get up right away). If you are inside the barrier as it is summoned, you are not impacted negatively. If you are outside of the barrier, she is invulnerable to all incoming damage, while she can continue attacking you.
Summon Shadow: After a few seconds of Nature's Preservation being active, a Shadow is summoned outside of the barrier. Killing the shadow teleports you inside the barrier, from where you can resume directly attacking the Shademother. However, if you are inside the barrier at the time of casting, no shadows will spawn for the entire duration of the barrier.
Teleport: The Shademother can teleport away further in the arena, indicated by her turning into a blue orb and dashing away.
