When you haven't join the Fighters Guild yet, he can sign you up:
- "With so many knights injured here, there's great demand for fighters willing to take their places. Why not join the guild?"
- The Guild?
- "Yes, the Fighters Guild. We're always looking for sharp blades and sharp minds. Well, that second part is optional, but you know what I mean.
We hoped to recruit a few knights to help destroy the local Daedric Anchors, but you're a better find." - Daedric Anchors?
- "Indeed. The huge chains that have been falling from the sky? In the Guild we call them "Daedric Anchors." I'm not exactly sure why—but I'm just paid to break them.
I have been told they're falling straight out of Oblivion. Most uncanny." - Sounds serious. And you said you're recruiting?
- "Yes. We have been challenged with a great task, and need experienced wayfarers like yourself.
So how about it? Will you join the Fighters Guild?" - Yes. I'm ready to join.
- "Excellent! Welcome to the Guild, Associate.
Now—the exciting part. Go out and slay as many Daedra as you can find. If you break some Anchors there'll be a generous reward into the bargain, and maybe even special jobs for you later on. Good luck!"
When spoken to he will say:
- "You picked the right place at the right time, comrade. With so many knights injured here, there's a great demand for fighters willing to take their places."
