Malahbu is a Khajiit found at South Guard Ruins. He is looking to escape life under Turo along with Galeneth, Daini and Safik.

He can initially be found at Daini's shelter. Speaking with him before Safik:
- "If you come to share a meal, we do not have much. Talk to Safik, yes?"
Speaking with him before Daini:
- "Daini comes back empty-handed again? Ziss'vo, we will never get out of this place!"
Speaking with him after speaking to Daini:
- "I heard you talking, walker. You mean to steal from Turo? Again?
Daini does not understand. You can only yank a senche-panther's tail so many times before it turns and gobbles you up." - I'll keep her safe.
- "Just make it quick! Malahbu's fur falls out from all this worry."
When you return from the warehouse raid with Daini, you'll find that Malahbu has been kidnapped by Turo's goons.
- "Malahbu:' "Walker! Over here! Malahbu is here!"
He can be found in the caves near Turo's vessel. Speak with him there.
- "Ah, walker! Thank the Moons! You will never believe what horrible things these slavers said they would do to poor Malahbu! You are a true friend, walker. A true friend!
Now, you will help this one escape, yes?" - Yes, of course. Do you know where they took Galeneth?
- "She cursed and spat like a wild beast. This one told her to stop, but she would not listen! They took her to Turo's slave ship—southeast of here, through the cave. The ship only stays in port a short while. You must hurry!
But first, let me out!" - All right. Head north along the beach. The way should be clear.
- "A thousand thanks to you, walker!
Malahbu only hopes that Daini and Safik still live. Be careful!"
Speaking with him after freeing him:
- "Malahbu appreciates everything you have done for him, but ... Malahbu cannot swim! We will just hope Sormund's big boat does not sink, yes?"
Speaking with him before ending the quest with Daini:
- "Thank you for everything, walker. Malahbu will admit, he had his doubts. But do not feel slighted. Malahbu has doubts about everything!"
After the quest:
- "Malahbu appreciates everything you have done for him, but ... Malahbu cannot swim! We will just hope Sormund's big boat does not sink, yes?"
