Magister Osanne may have sent word to the Orcthane about the mysterious ore found in Lost Knife Cave. Tridi decided to scout the area on her own for any signs of a messenger.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
After saving Lost Knife Mine from the Stormfists, you'll meet Nedrek repairing a wagon as you head out of town. He is grateful for the help, but worries that the Stormfists may send in another group to raid once they hear about the ore.
- "I overheard Magister Osanne say she sent word to the Orcthane about an unusual discovery.
After I told Tridi what I heard, she decided to scout the area. We don't want any more surprises." - Do you think more troops will come?
- "I hope not, but who can say? Could you watch for any of Fildgor's soldiers? A courier, maybe?
We don't want word about that mysterious metal reaching the wrong ears." - If I see anything, I'll take care of it.
Follow the road down the mountain, and you'll see a Stormfist camp near the site where you found Kerig's body. The courier, Lobamob gra-Bar, is there with a few other soldiers. Kill them and retrieve the Note from Magister Osanne from the top of a nearby crate.
Once you have it, Tridi will run up from behind you. Give her the letter to destroy, and she will give you your reward.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
