Rescue the Ice-Storm brothers
A Pact soldier and his brother were captured by bandits after being caught spying. They were investigating the cult-like activity of the bandits.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Free Israk Ice-Storm.
  2. Find Nathon Ice-Storm.
  3. Talk to Israk in Riften.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

While exploring Faldar's Tooth, you'll find Israk Ice-Storm locked in a cell in the western tunnels. Speak with him. He says that he and his brother, Nathon Ice-Storm, were sent here by the Pact to investigate the bandits inhabiting the fort. Unfortunately, they were imprisoned by the bandits, and Israk suspects they aren't normal bandits and that something strange is going on. He asks that you save his brother, who was taken further into the fort.

Open Israk's cell, letting him run to the entrance, then head south through the tunnels. Nathon can be found in the western tunnel leading into the southernmost chamber, where the delve's boss, Rozelun can be found. Speaking to him, he will ask that you save him and meet the brothers at the Riften docks near the Fighters Guild, their planned meeting point for a situation like this. When freed, Nathon will head for the entrance like his brother.

At the Riften docks, they will be fishing together as they wait. They thank you, and Israk rewards you for aiding him and his brother.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
