Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Danel Telleno.
- Acquire a solvent and reagents.
- Meet Danel Telleno at the Alchemy Station.
- Craft a Sip of Health.
- Return to Danel Telleno.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Talk to Danel Telleno, who can be found at the Mages Guild or right near you after completing the Enchanter Certification or Provisioner Certification. He will ask you to create a Sip of Health, but first you will need the ingredients.
Danel will direct you to a location outside of the city where you can find some Columbine, Mountain Flower and Natural Water. If you already have all of these ingredients available, either in your backpack, bank, or crafting bag, you may skip this step.
Return to Danel, who will now be found at the city's main Alchemy crafting area. He will ask you to create a Sip of Health using those three ingredients. Note that while he suggests that you use Columbine and Mountain Flower, you can make the same potion using any combination of the ingredients seen in the "Restore Health" section of Alchemy Writs.
Speak to Danel again after you have created this potion to complete the quest.
- "Your potions have a slight fizz to them, but your skill with admixtures is unquestioned ... far better than my former apprentice. You are now authorized to obtain and fulfill alchemy writs. May your elixirs remain potent and your reagents fresh."
NotesEdit
- It is possible to skip the tutorial section and be certified immediately if you have already reached Alchemy Rank 10.
- If you abandon the quest and restart it, the quest may not generate ingredients nearby; you will have to find them in the wild, as suggested in the dialogue.
Quest StagesEdit

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
