The Mysterious Bosmer is a horse thief camping just north of the Bruma Stables along with two hidden accomplices. He only appears during the related quest.
He wears leather armor, gauntlets and boots, as well as a black Nibenese mage hood. He is armed with two steel swords and also carries a random selection of gold, lockpicks, rings, food and drink.

Once you approach the camp, which features a few tents, a wooden dining table, and a suspicious number of horses, he will immediately intercept you:
- "Errm, hello. What brings you here, of all places?"
If you lie that you're admiring the views, he sees right through you:
- "No, of course you're not. Don't play me for a fool. What's your real reason for coming all the way out here?"
If you then tell him you're looking for some horse thieves, he muses:
- "Oh, really, now? That's... interesting. Very interesting. Almost as interesting as, say, rotmeth. I love a good mug of rotmeth. In fact, why don't we- "NOW! GET HER/HIM!""
At this point, he will attack you, backed up by his suddenly-appeared accomplices.
