The Saber of the Straits

Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Speak to Vycius Pitio in the Dustmoth Legion Garrison, Firewatch, about a shipment of contraband.
2. (Optional) Consult with Darnell at the Eastern Watchtower.
3. Either:
   • Speak to Alius Flagius on the TEM Saber of the Straits, docked at Firewatch.
   • Obtain access to the contraband, by either:
     1. Informing Alius of the lower offered price with 35+ Mercantile.
     2. Threatening to inform the captain (req. 35 Speechcraft).
     3. Threatening to kill Alius Flagius (req. Level 6).
     4. Paying the 1,000 gold demanded.
   • Bring 3x Bottles of Skooma and 6x Moon Sugar to Vycius Pitio (reward: 300 gold).
4. Or:
   • Inform Garius Rulo, captain of the Saber of the Straits, about the shipment of contraband.
   • Report back to Vycius.
   • Report your actions to Darnell (reward: Redguards, History and Heroes).

10		Vycius Pitio told me to go to Oarsman Alius Flagius on the Saber of the Straits and pay him to turn a shipment of contraband over to the Dustmoth Garrison. He said that while the Oarsman is usually paid 1000 gold for his shipments, I should try to negotiate the price down to 500 gold.
30		Alius Flagius became frustrated that I would not pay him, and is now refusing to turn over any contraband.
60		I persuaded the Oarsman to unlock the door to the contraband closet.
80		I told the Captain of the Saber of the Straits that Alius Flagius was selling the ship's contraband to the Dustmoth Garrison. He was enraged, and swore that he would be punished.
100	Finishes quest	Vycius Pitio was pleased that I got the skooma, and gave me 400 more gold.
110	Finishes quest	Vycius Pitio was concerned to hear that Alius Flagius had been caught, and took back his 500 septims.
120	Finishes quest	Darnell thanked me for reporting the Oarsman to the Captain, and gave me a book as reward.
