Francine asked me to find out why she got arrested. She wants me to go to Fort Windmoth and investigate there.

I talked to Arvs Rethrathi, the commander of Fort Windmoth. He didn't tell me why Francine Aldard had been arrested, but instead tried to extort her 'bounty' from me.

As I refused to pay Francine's bounty, Commander Rethrathi declared that I am no longer welcome at Fort Windmoth and, as if this was news, neither is Francine. I am wondering what these big words translate to.

I paid Francine's bounty, but the commander failed to provide the reason for her arrest.

I returned to Francine and informed her that the matter has been settled. While she thanked me for this, it is clear that her worries are not dispelled as long as the reason for the arrest remains unclear.

I found a letter from Rilmas Athyrion to the commander of Fort Windmoth in which he demands Francine's arrest. It seems Master Athyrion believes that Francine has helped Mjara, a former slave of his, to escape.

Francine was disappointed that I wasn't able to learn the reason for her arrest warrant. She is now avoiding unnecessary travel and seems worried about her future at Akamora.

I explained to Francine the grounds of her arrest. She was frustrated to hear of the implications Master Athyrion had drawn from her letter and promised to be more careful in the future.
