Indoril Danvas, youngest son of Indoril Ilvi

Indoril Danvas is a Dunmer warrior and the youngest son of Indoril Ilvi, the ruler of Roa Dyr. He can be found on the lowest floor of the Crossing of Lamps in Roa Dyr, gazing upon the skulls of servants past. Death is a question to which he repeatedly returns, in attempts to reconcile his devout faith in the Tribunal with the cruelties of the world.

"I have put my faith in them [the Tribunal] all my life. I've followed their teachings, studied their mysteries. And yet I feel none of it has prepared me for what I'm facing now. It all seems so cruel, so pointless. What meaning does anything in life have when it's all destined to vanish like ashes in the wind? When love is doomed to end in mortal grief?"

Indoril Danvas admires his father, and wishes to follow in his footsteps in both defending Great House Indoril and Resdayn, while also recognising that Indoril Ilvi is implacable, and posssessive of an iron will that sometimes makes it better to hide an adverse event from him rather than reveal it - such an event occurs during A Warmonger's Counsel. In general, while Indoril Danvas does exhibit flashes of anger, he is well-meaning and compassionate.

Quests for the Tribunal Temple in Almas Thirr involve Indoril Danvas on several occasions - once on a moral dilemma concerning a sickly slave, once optionally to defuse a tense situation concerning a Hlaalu spy, and once more in search of his dearest friend, Addamarys Saldro.
