Barendreth

Barendreth is a battleground between Baluath vampires and Ordinators of the Tribunal Temple.

It straddles a pass between the Aanthirin and Armun Ashlands regions, being more ready accessed from the former. To reach it, leave Indal-ruhn via its southern road, and take the first right fork.

Ordinators have secured the exterior and the Dome area, while a pitched battle goes on in the Lower Levels between them, the vampires, and the vampires' summoned Daedra. The vampires themselves are relatively new arrivals, with their cattle being recent captures and largely retaining their state of mind. Their leader, Mansiladdar, can be found on the Upper Level, and has a quest for passing vampires. In the Underground area, Curate Dredase Devani has become trapped, and is in dire need of a healer.

Barendreth has a Propylon Chamber linking to Romayon and Hlorandus.

NotesEdit

• The name Barendreth intentionally includes 'Aren' as a reference to Aren Manor, which stood in Barendreth's location prior to the 24.12 release.
• Many of the NPCs from Aren Manor have been reused in Barendreth's interior, taking on new roles as slaves and Ordinators - the dialogue of Orns Aren even alludes to the manor as having been on his map.
• Developer commentary indicates that the real Veloth's Path ran through the then-Aren Manor, as opposed to Hlan Oek in the south, with this fact having since been lost to history - however, it is unclear whether this lore true stands today.
