Arvs-Shadan is a Telvanni wizard's base for research into vampirism.
To reach it, either travel north from Arvud until you reach the hills that form the border of the Armun Ashlands with Roth Roryn, and travel west, or else travel east from Volenfaryon. The tower stands opposite the Daedric Shrine of Essarnartes.
Within are imprisoned two vampires, with the Telvanni sorcerer Malvenisa Lloryn residing in her quarters at the top of the tower. She is assisted by her apprentice Gammush, and guarded by the warrior, Aris Dreleth. All three will need to be killed in the event that you wish to free the vampire Alvayah during her associated quest.

- Two skill books are present on the shelves in the top room - A Hypothetical Treachery (Destruction) and Song of the Alchemists (Alchemy).
- Vampire Dust and the key to the vampires' cells can be found on the table next to those same cells.
