Ansuma Veloth is a Dark Elf commoner who can be found in his house that he shares with his wife, Gona, in Llothanis. He used to serve as an Ordinator, but retired about 30 years ago. Recently, a strange woman has been asking questions about him in town, and Ansuma wants to know why.

He wears an expensive robe, a pair of exquisite shoes, and an exquisite amulet. He wields an ebony mace and carries 100 gold.

Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows no spells.

MiscellaneousEdit

  • Temple Propaganda: It is dangerous to be a Tribunal Temple worshipper in the Telvanni lands. Find out why.

DialogueEdit

  • Greeting:
"What brings you here, %PCRace? Do you have a question about Llothanis?"
  • Llothanis:
"This isn't a bad place to live. Llothanis has grown from a village into a town, over the past few years, while our status as a trading-town keeps the drakes flowing in."

Temple PropagandaEdit

  • Greetings:
"Welcome to my humble home, %PCClass. I wonder if I might ask you to help me solve a little problem I'm having with a strange woman who has been around town as of late."

If you have been declared as the Nerevarine by the Vvardenfell tribes:

"Nerevarine, you honor me with your presence. I never thought I would live to see this day... I wonder if perhaps you could help me solve a little problem I'm having with a strange woman who has been around town as of late."
"Have you found the strange woman who has been asking around town about me?"
"Have you managed to get the strange woman who has been making inquiries about me to leave town?"
  • strange woman:
"I have been informed that a strange woman has been inquiring about me around town. She has not approached me directly and I know little about her but would like you to find out her intentions, if you have time. Will you assist me in finding her and discussing whatever it is she wants?"
  • Yes, I'll help.: "Thank you. I have no idea where she may be hiding, but I haven't seen her around town. Perhaps you should ask other citizens if they know where she can be found."
  • No, I don't have time for that.: "I understand, %PCName. Return if you should change your mind."
"So you haven't managed to speak with the woman who has been inquiring about me? That's okay, I'm sure you're trying your best. Thank you again for helping me, and be sure to let me know after you've spoken with her."
"So the woman calls herself Trena Telteraneth and she believes me to be spreading Temple propaganda? That's absurd! I do not deny that I am devoted to Almsivi. After all I served as an ordinator for over 70 years! But I have never tried to convert anyone here in Llothanis. I retired over 30 years ago and met Gona while on my way home to Akamora from Vivec. She was from this town, and we decided to settle here so she could be close to her daughter, Almsivi show her grace."
  • Continue: "Could you please convince Trena that I am not spreading propaganda, and that all I want to do is live out what little remains of my life with Gona? Although I acknowledge that the situation could turn violent, try to convince her to go peacefully."
"Have you convinced Trena Telteraneth to leave town?"
  • Yes.: "Thank you for getting her to leave, %PCName. Here are 500 gold pieces for your assistance."
  • You can keep your gold.: "That's very generous of you. Thank you." (Disposition up by 20)
  • Thank you.: "You're welcome." (Disposition up by 5, and you receive 500 gold)
  • No.: "Well, let me know when it's done and I'll reward you."

These options appear if you lied to Trena:

  • I told her you were spreading propaganda.: "You! Insolent fetcher. Prepare to meet your end!" Goodbye (Disposition down by 50, and he attacks you)
  • Yes. [Say nothing about lying to Trena.]: (See similar 'Yes' response above)

If you killed Trena:

"So you were forced to fight and kill the strange woman who has been inquiring about me? That is regrettable, but I should pay you for your services. Here are 500 gold pieces."
  • You can keep your gold: (See same response above)
  • Thank you.: (See same response above)
"Thank you for helping me out, %PCName."

NotesEdit

  • The TR_m1_q_Ansuma_Veloth_D version of Ansuma Veloth is a dead version that can appear if the quest is completed in a certain way.
