Skyrim talk:Telekinesis Effect
What It DoesEdit
Does Telekinesis allow for activating and deactivating switches, levers, etc? Does that need to be specified in the article? — Unsigned comment by 96.37.144.43 (talk) at 18:05 on 28 November 2011
- No, it's the same as Oblivion, at least in my game anyway. It could be added as a small note in the introduction if you want to add it.RIM 18:07, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
Controlling Multiple ObjectsEdit
Contrary to what the page currently says, you can control multiple objects at a time if you duel wield (For example, I managed to pick two cups and a plate off a shelf at the same time). They just need to be close together. 93.97.196.146 22:50, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- This. I confirm. Dualcast does work. 3-4 objects can be picked and thrown simultaneously. Just imagine how cool it would be if damge dealt by a trown weapon was boosted (but really it's not :( ). Master of alternation drops a pack of iron daggers and then throws them to the face of surprised foe! — Unsigned comment by 193.124.221.20 (talk) at 11:35 on January 16, 2012
Killing with TelekinesisEdit
according to the page, it says throwing objects at someone can damage them enough to turn them hostile, so is it possible to kill with telekinesis? because it was a useless power more or less in oblivion. stealing with it was useful but it had no combat usefulness. - The damage portion needs to be tested. Imagine if we could kill guards with sweetrolls? Igtenos 11:33, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

- Can be killed if their health is really really low (like 2%).-Azurome 02:45, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

- The damage is really, really, really tiny. It's hard to even notice it. (I am very disappoint.) I came here looking for some kind of use for it, I WANT to like it, but it's making it so hard. 50.123.65.50 10:13, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

- i think the damage might hav something to do with the object's weight, but i need confirmation. 75.25.61.1 02:40, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Variable numberEdit
The reference ID is not 0001a4cb. The actual number is 0001a4cc. --74.59.240.94 18:54, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- The Telekinesis spell is 0001a4cc, the effect is 0001a4cb. – Robin Hood↝talk 22:46, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

ControllingEdit
What are the controls for it? I can only bring it to me. I'm on the 360. — Unsigned comment by 174.253.65.102 (talk) at 19:13 on January 15, 2012
- let go of the trigger when the object is at it's closest, but before u run out of juice. 75.25.61.1 02:33, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Multiple ObjectsEdit
So the past hour or so, I've been using telekinesis and i found that you can control multiple objects at once, as long as your character has the alteration dual casting perk. So i added a that you can control multiple objects at once in the note section.--Joren Vantius 00:47, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Tolfdir and Wylandriah don't sell the SpellEdit
I have tried to purchase this spell from both Tolfdir and Wylandriah, but they do not carry it. I only have an Alteration skill of 32, so is it not high enough of rank to purchase? Is there any other place that this book can be obtained? 184.61.128.176 16:36, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- It's random. The lists that control where it can be sold are a little convoluted, but Wylandriah and Tolfdir are probably the two most likely bets. You'll have to check back every few days, but they should be available from level one, regardless of your Alteration skill. – Robin Hood↝talk 05:25, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
- it can be found it the redwater den in a locked cage in in the large distillery room. Its on the floor next to a dead mage.98.244.13.11 02:52, 17 December 2012 (GMT)
weightEdit
This has been marked as a question that needs to be answered. |
it seems like weight might have something to do with the damage, and if not, it should, (confirm?)75.25.61.1 01:39, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
- wieght does not matter.
- Should it?
- perhaps, but it doesnt regardless. I imagine it would be difficult to make wieght matter. Unless the heavier an object the more magicka cost. — Unsigned comment by 68.238.152.79 (talk) at 05:39 on 9 July 2012
Telekinesis found in redwater denEdit
I found the spell tome for telekinesis in redwater den. Its in the large distillery room in a locked cage, next to a dead mage. Its on the floor so its not random, also another user found it in the same location(which is what prompted me to look for it) and posted it on another page and i confirmed it there. This should probably go on the main page(confirm first if youd like) but ive never edited a main page before so ill leave it to the more experienced. 98.244.13.11 02:48, 17 December 2012 (GMT)
- Yes, that location is non-random (DG). DB adds another non-random location at Benkongerike. --Alfwyn (talk) 14:38, 17 December 2012 (GMT)
