Trap DoorEdit
There is a trap door at the fireplace on the 2nd level in the Fort (the fireplace has only embers, no flame) that is locked with a key. I have looked everywhere in the fort for a key to it and found nothing. And a quick google search came up with nothing. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but the unlock console command doesn't seem to do anything. Joh777nny 17:57, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

- I looked in the CK and it's a trap door of making players ask questions. :) In other words, there is no key and it goes nowhere. – Robin Hood↝talk 06:46, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
Potion of True ShotEdit
Has anybody made the connection between a "potion of true shot", which improves aiming and a latrine? It could be an easter egg, or at least a funny reference.— Unsigned comment by Foacir (talk • contribs) at 01:48 on 13 January 2013
- Something along the lines of the old sign in men's washrooms, "We aim to please. You aim too, please"? 174.6.51.17 11:55, 12 February 2013 (GMT)
Stormcloaks at fort before starting questlineEdit
So I have been to this fort once before on my way to Dawnstar for the first time and while I was there I killed off every last bandit occupying the area inside and out. I hadn't come back to the fort for at least 30 days or more, and as I approached I saw people thinking the bandits respawned. Well it turns out there are now Stormcloaks occupying the fort instead. But here is the thing, I hadn't actually picked a side for the civil war yet since I have not joined the Stormcloaks or the Legion. The page says the bandits get replaced by Stormcloak soldiers during the questline, but apparently killing off all the bandits caused the soldiers to show up before even starting the questline. Has this happen for for anyone else? I feel like it should be noted on the wiki page. 71.171.112.74 07:12, 27 August 2013 (GMT)
- Unless you play on the PC (with the USKP intalled), one and only one of the nine military forts can be garisoned with troops (prior to starting the civil war). This "one fort" is intended to be Fort Hraggstad (in Haafingar hold), which is why if you clear out one of the other forts before joining the Imperial Legion (assuming you choose to go that route) and clear out Fort Hraggstad, it will not be garissoned with soldiers (as Rikke says it will be). The USKP (v. 1.2.7) includes a "fix" so that all nine forts will garrison Imperial or Stormcloak troops after clearing them of bandits, conjurers, etc. when you leave the area, whether or not you have started the civil war or not. --Blackpete (talk) 09:04, 26 October 2013 (GMT)
It seems to have been intended that any of the military forts that get cleared out of bandits, will be taken over and garrisoned by the side currently occupying the hold, regardless of whether the player has taken sides in the civil war. As pointed out above, there was a bug that caused only one such fort to be garrisoned, and that would usually be Hraggstad because of the Imperial Legion quest to clear it. The Unofficial Skyrim Patch (for both Legendary and Special Editions) fixed this long ago, and I believe this may even have been fixed in the unpatched game. Incidentally, though there is no there is no "conquer the fort" battle in Whiterun Hold (since it has the city battle instead), Fort Greymoor functions the same way for that hold: if cleared of its initial occupants before the Battle of Whiterun (regardless of which side the player takes), it will be garrisoned with Imperials, and if it is *not* cleared by the player before the battle of Whiterun, it will nevertheless be garrisoned by whichever side wins that battle. The book is MISSINGEdit
I searched in the Prison, and the book wasn't anywhere to be found. Where is it?? — Unsigned comment by 58.10.155.121 (talk) at 15:11 on 16 May 2021 (UTC)
My best guess it that it only spawns after the bandits are cleared out and the fort is converted to military use - for either side. JLE (talk) 00:54, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
Rats hostile to bandits - is it really a bug or should this be just in "Notes"?Edit
I mean, the bandits are cooking and eating the skeevers, or keeping them in cages, or forcing them to fight each other in the pit. If I were a skeever I'd be attacking every human within sight because I wouldn't know the difference between someone who's a bandit and someone who isn't... JLE (talk) 01:05, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
