Race?Edit

Here it says that Celann is a Nord, but looks more like a Breton to me. Has his race been confirmed or just assumed? Eximago 19:07, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Everyone's race is just assumed at the moment. Some are easy to guess and some are not so easy... until Dawnguard gets released on the PC we dont really have anyway to confirm anyones race. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 19:57, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm thinking maybe we should leave this sort of thing as a {{huh}} on NPC pages for now, until the PC gets Dawnguard and we can check game-data. The only exception should be if someone mentions the race in dialogue or something. ABCface 20:42, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
And it looks like he's a Breton after all. Nephele has gone through and updated most of the creature/NPC pages with information from game-data, so it should be correct now on all those pages. ABCface 13:13, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Level Cap?Edit

Does Celann have a level cap? since one isn't listed... Lord Eydvar Talk | Contribs 02:12, 14 September 2012 (GMT)

Nope, neither does Durak. — ABCface 02:29, 14 September 2012 (GMT)

Maybe, try it yourself and see. Dragon Guard (talk) 14:31, 27 July 2013 (GMT)

Celann DisappearsEdit

So Celann just disappeared randomly and i don't know what to do. Any help or advice? — Unsigned comment by 67.236.99.21 (talk) at 14:23 on 14 June 2013

Celann differs from other followersEdit

His arrows run out if you don't keep him topped up - which is of course more realistic. Also I was mystified why he could hardly carry anything until I realised he starts out with fifteen crossbows! — Unsigned comment by 86.135.167.40 (talk) at 11:18 on 27 July 2013 (GMT)

None of the Dawnguard followers seem to have a hidden hunting bow, but instead prefer to equip crossbows for ranged attacks. Followers only don't use up arrows when they're firing their hidden hunting bows. --Morrolan (talk) 02:44, 27 December 2013 (GMT)

Hack and Slash levelEdit

He's probably got it at level 1, but it's a ranked perk and his infobox should be updated with his correct level. Can someone on PC check it please? --Morrolan (talk) 02:42, 27 December 2013 (GMT)

Is he a Reachman?Edit

His name sounds particularly Celtic, is all. It'd be nice if he was, given that in Skyrim, Reachmen only exist in The Reach. Vicano (talk) 17:20, 1 June 2014 (GMT)

He's a Breton. Reachmen are Bretons; he could be a Reachman, but Celtic names are fairly common among Bretons in general. --Morrolan (talk) 16:49, 27 July 2014 (GMT)

Celann was provided Ultimate Healing potions but did not use themEdit

Xbox One Skyrim SE...

I am level 76 high elf character, master 100 smithing, master 100 Enchanting with all perks. Restoration glitch enchanted alchemy gear with my alchemy skill level 100 but not all the perks.

I gave Celann over powered weapons and armor with advanced over powered smithing improvements and over powered magic enchantments to fortify restoration and fortify health (to 37+ million health), but instead he dies with his over powered armor equipped just standing inside Fort Dawnguard while tending to the cooking spit at the main fireplace near the long dinner table soon after I part ways with him then choose a new follower.

After reloading a game save prior to his mysterious death after I had parted ways with him, I had to switch back to having him as a follower to see what the heck was up with that?

But when I took away all his buffed armors that I had provided to him, he went into half dying crawling mode. I spent quite some time today spell casting him with "heal other" and raised my Restoration skill many times over, indicating to me that he does not regain health on his own in proportion to his health level. At that point he just had his own armor, but was overburdened with lots of iron, steel, and other ingots that I had insisted that he pick up for me.

To get him back on his feet again, I had to exit the front door of Fort Dawnguard, when suddenly he was outside the front door standing next to me waiting for action or commands. At that point there was still no indication of his health status.

In his inventory while trading things with him, he had other healing potions besides ultimate healing (UH). The UH potion supposedly should have restored all of his health.

Could he now be bugged with defective default "negative" health due to some kind of integer overflow?

I have Wabajack in a chest in one of my homes that I COULD experimentally try to use on him while he seems healthy to see what happens. Hopefully, he does not turn violent by being damaged by the "magic?" nor die instantly without explanation of health levels before and after Wabajacking? 198.91.176.251 07:43, 26 August 2020 (UTC)

Some experimentation with the gear being equipped for large health fortification has the effect of making the armor rating go way negative for each armor piece possibly making any small damage done instantly fatal so as to put anyone into a crawling around pre-death "dance." Simply removing the particular gear, eliminates the negative multipliers upon the armor ratings. This was how any character could end up at death's door from bumping their knee on a statically situated rock obstacle on any pathway.
When hit with Wabajack with all offending health and high armor buffing gear removed, Celann shows a barely noticeable amount of damage to his full bar graph of health. 198.91.176.251 15:18, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Actually, the overpowered enchantment that seems making the worst effects is fortify a given armor type (heavy or light), possibly in combination with fortify health? 198.91.176.251 00:13, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
