First, permit me to apologize for the lateness of my response. As you have undoubtedly heard, we recently accepted a new leader in place of our founder and former lord, Harkon. As such, matters within Castle Volkihar have been quite busy as of late.

However, this is not to say we have not been observing the events of this clan-feud closely. While we deeply regret that we were unable to intervene and provide you assistance earlier, we were pleased to learn of your victory and would be delighted to accept your offer of a formal alliance. Once I have finished with matters here at Castle Volkihar, I shall personally come to discuss the finer details of this alliance.
