A note to Rakoslod about a lost shipment of spider eggs
Rakoslod,
I did some digging into that unusual spider egg you asked about.
Seems like it was found on the mainland of Vvardenfell and was planned to be sent to Skyrim aboard a ship called the Dancing Dreugh, but the ship was lost with all hands during the Red Year.
From what I've found, it sounds like the waves caused by the eruption of Red Mountain launched the ship right out of the ocean and into the side of a mountain on Solstheim.
If you really want to find what happened to that egg, try the old Bjorn ice caves - seems like that's near the landing site.
