Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Aladoer in the Ruby Drake Inn.
- Find the Codex Mania.
- Find the Codex Periculum, which can be found in Mirilstern, Arcanium.
- Find the Codex Remora, which can be found in Angturiel, Windweaver Dome.
- Find the Codex Taedium, which is sold by Malrec in his bookstore in Dragonstar East.
- Return to Aladoer to sell him a tome.

Meet AladoerEdit
In the Ruby Drake Inn in Karthwasten you'll find Aladoer, he tells you he's interested in any Direnni Tomes you might find and likes to buy them of of you. There are four Direnni Tomes in total and they are spread out over Skyrim.
Codex ManiaEdit
Codex PericulumEdit
The Direnni Tome: Codex Periculum can be found in the Arcanium section at the Direnni Ruins of Mirilstern, in a room behind two locked (30 and 60, respectively) gates. While the Mirilstern Key unlocks the first locked (30) gate, you must unlock the second locked (60) gate on your own. The Codex can be found on the middle shelf of the second left bookshelf.
When sold to Aladoer, you will receive 1,250 gold and a 5 point increase in disposition.
Codex RemoraEdit
The Direnni Tome: Codex Remora can be found in the Direnni Ruins of Angturiel, be prepared to fight lots of Bats, Spiders and Daedra though. Upon entering the ruins, go right and once you reach the larger room, go up the stairs. Keep finding staircases until your all the way up in the tower and proceed to the Windweaver Dome, here a Daedra is waiting for you, defeat it and get the Tome from the table.
Codex TaediumEdit
The Direnni Tome: Codex Taedium is sold by Malrec, he lives in Dragonstar East in Malrec: Bookseller, just across the Shadkowkey Tavern.
NotesEdit
- Reading one of the Codexes will give you a new spell but it will reduce your intelligence.
