Tiledorus Cadmerius is an Imperial Knight and is the Navarch of the West Navy. This places three Navy fleets under his command, including the Home Fleet, the Iliac Fleet, and the Far West Fleet. This makes him responsible for securing the Empire's interests in a vast expanse of sea, including the lucrative trade routes crossing the Abecean Sea, the Blue Divide and the Iliac Bay.
Tiledorus is the individual responsible for the continued imprisonment of the Sea Elf, Unsolyo, and is holding him in suspicion that the Maormer is in some way linked to a recent attack on Navy vessels. Persuading him otherwise, or finding someone with a high enough rank to give a countermanding order, forms the chief challenge of the quest Improbable Cause.
He is additionally a mark of The Arenthian during The Black Isle Bounty, and can be persuaded to make a significant investment in the future of what he believes to be a real company engaged in the Ebony trade.
