PrerequisitesEdit
You must have completed either Mergers and Acquisitions or Battle for Goldstone in the Kingdom of Anvil questline to unlock the ability to purchase Goldenrod House.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Speak to either Akaterina Hadrach or Solvus Orrich in Goldstone's Great Hall about Goldenrod House.
- Pay 10,000 gold for the house.
- (Optional) Furnish your new home with furniture from Hjeld the Steady in the Wayfarer Building and paintings from Celethril in the Conservatory of Saint Laeca.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
On completion of certain milestones in the Kingdom of Anvil questline, you will unlock the option to purchase Goldenrod House - Anvil's newest real estate in the Marina. Speak to either Solvus Orrich on the completion of Mergers and Acquisitions (in such a way that Sonkha of Hagoket does not die), or to Akaterina Hadrach on finishing Battle for Goldstone. Both can be found in the Great Hall of Goldstone castle after the events of the respective quests.
Ask them about the Goldenrod House topic. They'll offer you ownership of this two-story residence for 10,000 gold. Pay, and you'll be provided with the Goldenrod House Key. Either seller will also make references to how you might furnish the location - by speaking to Hjeld the Steady in the Wayfarer Building or to Celethril in the Conservatory of Saint Laeca.
Upgrade options include a painting titled 'Nine Rising Stars' from Celethril for 5,000 gold, and furnishings for the study, smithy, library, entry hall, dining room and bedroom from Hjeld. The bedroom costs 1,500 gold to furnish, the smithy 2,000, and all other rooms 1,000. It will take 2-5 days for all furnishings to be installed from point of purchase.
