The Whiterun Wolfhound was given to players who ordered the Imperial Edition on Steam before July 21, 2014.[1] It also comes with the purchase of the official Elder Scrolls Online Nord figurine from Symbiote Studios[2] (redeemable only on PC/Mac; not to be confused with the Funko Pop! Vinyl Nord figurine). Its default name is "Horker", after the eponymous animal.

- There was some controversy following the announcement of this pet's initial release due to the inability of existing non-Steam players to obtain it. The near-identical Windhelm Wolfhound was announced in lieu of this.
