Jaknir is a Nord miner trapped inside the Shor's Stone Mine. Once rescued he can be found outside the Tapped Vein.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
If you haven't started the quest, you will find him trapped by vines. If he is the first miner to be rescued, he will ask you to free him and will reveal his other mining colleagues that need to be rescued:
- "Please, help me!"
- What did they do to you?
- "They're saving me for something, something horrible. You have to get me out of these vines!"
- I'll get you out. Is anyone else down here?
- "Yes! They led Adana, Narir, and Raena away through the mines. Find them, please!"
- I will. Get going.
If he isn't the first miner to be rescued:
- "Don't leave me like this."
- I'm here to help.
- "I think one of those things is getting closer!"
- You're free. Go!
When freed:
- Jaknir: "The Reachmen talked of an ancient tomb down here, something about the Companions."
After the quest, he can be found at the porch of the Tapped Vein:
- "I couldn't bear the thought of leaving my wife for Shor. Thank you."
