Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Swipe
- A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage.
- Terrorizing Strike
- Darkshard winds up a heavy strike, with a deceiving time before the animation and the strike, dealing very high physical damage and staggering. This can be blocked.
- Feast
- Darkshard shrieks loudly, indicated by a wide red cone, dealing high physical damage and snaring affected targets.
- Grasping Scream
- Darkshard shoots dark projectiles at nearby targets, dealing low magical damage and stunning them. If Break Free is not used, stunned targets are pulled to Darkshard, who then summons a negate field, indicated by a large red circle, dealing continuous high magical damage.
- Maelstrom Summon
- At certain health threshold, Darkshard vanishes from the arena and summons bosses from Maelstrom Arena to fight in its stead. At the 80% threshold, Maxus the Many is summoned. At 60%, the Champion of Atrocity and at 40%, the Argonian Behemoth (along with Argonian Venomcallers in Hard Mode).
- After the bosses are defeated, Darkshard carries over a mechanic from them moving forward. For Maxus, the ability to summon two explosive adds. With Champion of Atrocity, the oblisk mechanic. And for the Argonian Behemoth, the Poison Flowers mechanic.
- Summon Shade
- After "Terrorizing Strike" and "Scream", a shadowy version of Darkshard spawns at a faraway target and performs those abilities again.
