K'Sharr is a Khajiit thief located along the road east of Bruma. He is the only survivor of the thieves who stole the Stone of St. Alessia from the Chapel of Talos and will tell how they were ambushed by ogres who took the stone to Sedor.
K'Sharr wears a leather cuirass, gauntlets and greaves. He is armed with an iron dagger and carries a dark green shirt and laced leather pants with a small amount of gold.
After your conversation with Cirroc during the related quest, K'Sharr will spawn in the snowy landscape just west of the Silver Road and Plundered Mine. He will wander around in a state of disbelief without ever eating or sleeping and will, when you get near him, say: "I hate my life."
When you approach him, he will say: "So, I assume you're the one who's been sent to track us down. Damn stone was more trouble than it was worth." He will then admit the crime and tell the story: "We stole it. I won't try to hide that now. I'm all that's left now, though. We may have stolen the stone, but we weren't the last ones to do it. The lot of us got jumped by a bunch of ogres. Partial to pretty gems, it seems. I'm the only one that survived. If you want the stone, head to Sedor." When asked about Sedor he will mark it on your map: "It's not far from here. Here, I'll mark it on your map. Now, just leave me." Asking about the stone again will simply cause him to reply: "I've told you all I know. Leave me alone." When you exit conversation the discouraged Khajiit will say: "Go ahead. I don't care." Approaching him again will cause him to reject you: "Do what you will with me. I've got nothing left."
After the quest, K'Sharr will stand at his snowy spot near the Silver Road indefinitely. You can choose to put him out of his misery at this point if you wish; you will not receive a bounty or gain any infamy for doing so, although killing him can start the Dark Brotherhood questline.
