Morrowind talk:Bonemold Armor

Armor ConnectionEdit

On the page on Gah-Julan (the slave): "There is no connection between this Argonian and Gah-Julan Redoran Bonemold armor." Soo...why does this page say otherwise? Which one is right? --— Unsigned comment by 205.188.117.18 (talk)

A search through forums and Google confirms the translation of Gah-Julan to "Great Benefit", although there is no reference to the name of this Redoran Armor being Argonian made. Furthermore, I found no reference to the namesake slave being the inventor of the armor. Likewise, the beetle resin that Bonemold armor is made of is native to Morrowind, not Black Marsh. Maybe the author of this article can shed more light on it? --BenouldTC 11:59, 10 April 2008 (EDT)
As a matter of fact, I started a topic a couple weeks ago in the Bethsoft forums on this very subject, specifically in order to attempt to clear up this discrepency on the site. I found the results to be somewhat inconclusive, but such discussions on the Lore forums generally are that way. Take a look at this thread and see what you think. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:10, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
The origin seems to be one of these mysteries doomed to be unresolved. I removed the speculation from the page and the GQ tag. --BenouldTC 13:17, 3 June 2008 (EDT)
Return to "Bonemold Armor" page.
