Lore talk:Drugs

TobaccoEdit

Should Tobacco be included here on the drugs page? I've noticed there are farms for tobacco in Cyrodiil, yet I haven't seen anything in the way of actually taking it, smoking it, or it being illicit in any way. Thoughts? 74.128.118.255 21:09, 22 July 2014 (GMT)

Probably not, since there's no record in the game of anyone consuming it or it being illegal or banned in any way. I found one teensy reference to tobacco being smoked in Lore:The Wolf Queen, v4, but it seems to be considered a normal activity like drinking. --AN|L (talk) 22:38, 22 July 2014 (GMT)
Actually, this page was originally envisioned to include alcoholic beverages, I was just waiting on a lore page to be created for them. This page was created to solve a categorical dilemma for a relatively small amount of affected pages, and it overlaps significantly with other sections. I think I just forgot about tobacco. It has no independent article to transclude, and we don't have much to say about it. Since it's already covered in Lore:Flora, there's no vital need to document tobacco here. It's covered on the wiki regardless. However, I think the natural tendency is to make an article as comprehensive as possible, so I don't usually fight it, and I can't think of a good reason for omitting tobacco. I'd imagine that--at the very least--mentioning tobacco on this page, wouldn't be too harmful of a thing to do. At least it wouldn't be creating an entirely new lore article just to put a few words in about tobacco uses, as well as the one source that identifies its use. Whatever you guys wanna do, I just had a rogue thought and figured I'd bring it up. 74.128.118.255 03:09, 24 July 2014 (GMT)

Balmora blueEdit

balmora blue would fit in this list. Not much is known about it except that its distributed in balmora and is very rare and only one source in skyrim — Unsigned comment by Zebendal (talkcontribs) at 21:44 on 10 September 2018‎

This page says it's for "addictive, illicit, and often illegal substances with hallucinogenic or mood-altering affects". Do we know if Balmora Blue has any of these properties? --Xyzzy Talk 02:56, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

Fargrave DrugsEdit

A section should be added to include things sold in Fargrave.
