Bloodmoon:Base Armor

This page lists all unenchanted armors added by the Bloodmoon expansion set. Please note: In the initial release of Bloodmoon, Nordic Mail was Medium Armor, and Ice was Light Armor. With the 1.6. patch (which is already applied to the GoTY version), BethSoft changed Nordic Mail to Heavy, and Ice to Medium.

Note that the Enchant values shown here are as used in-game. The construction set uses these values times ten for increased precision. A fraction value shown here will be displayed truncated in-game.

During the East Empire Company quest line on Solstheim, you will eventually be told to find Stalhrim which can be used to make Stalhrim armor. Stalhrim Armor (called Ice Armor in the game) is one of the strongest sets of medium class armor. The Ice Shield can be obtained only by doing the Protect Falco or The Assassin quest.

Worn by Skaal Honor Guards and found as random loot around Solstheim, Nordic Mail surprisingly has a higher armor rating than Ebony Armor despite its lighter weight, though it is significantly less durable, and most pieces have a lower Enchant capability.
