Welcome to the UESP\ research \ old topicsEdit
Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:
- Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun!
I've noticed that you often post questions or observations that can easily be answered with a little research, now their is nothing wrong with asking questions, especially if you can't figure it out yourself, but please do the research first, it will save us all some time. For example on Mehrunes Dagon's talk page you asked if Mehrunes Razor could banish Mehrunes Dagon where you could of just as easily of looked up Mehrunes Razor on the wiki and gotten the same answer.
Also I noticed that you posted a reply to a question from 2009 that was already answered here. if it is speculation on a topic that doesn't have a real answer that is okay (if it wasn't archived), like how Mankar Cameron could wear the Emperor's Amulet for example but you do not need to answer year old questions, especially if they have already been answered. - It seems like the the entirety of your comments are random thoughts that pop into your head. If they would improve the quality of the articles please do research and then post your findings so that we may judge them. However if you just want to speak in semi-formal terms about the game and the observations you might make about them, as you seem to want to go to the UESP forums that I just linked.
