Wow, welcome with a bang! You've been speedily fixing that one typo on so many pages, I just felt a need to thank you! Feel free to ask any questions you have, though since you're another migrant from wikipedia, there ought not be too much trouble. Welcome, again! Somercy 12:53, 5 March 2007 (EST)

You're welcome. I'd bet that's not the only typo we have scattered about here, but I'd like to know how you're doing this...are you using search to find the mispelled version of the word, or...what? Somercy 13:03, 5 March 2007 (EST)
That's what I did. You'd be amazed how often in-game words get misspelled. Try doing a search for "Leyawin" or "Cheydinal", etc. (Though there's far less than there used to be because I went through a while ago and fixed every one I could find.) By the way, welcome to the site. Good to have diligent people willing to do the not-so-fun nitty-gritty work. --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:00, 5 March 2007 (EST)
Oi, I see. I'll work on the occurences of "alot" later... Somercy 08:22, 6 March 2007 (EST)

Welcome and StuffEdit

Nice spelling fixes, but I have one small criticism, you changed a typos in the Tamriel Books sections. Those pages are copied directly from the in game books, so we don't fix typos in them. Anyways, hello, and welcome. --Ratwar 13:21, 5 March 2007 (EST)

Oblivion Free TimeEdit

Hmmm... Wikipedia and UESPWiki obviously aren't keeping you busy enough if you've had enough time to play Oblivion and level up four levels in one day ;) In other words, I'm just jealous, because somehow I never manage to find the time to play any more (I've only been able to complete one quest in the last three weeks, which means I'm unlikely to ever finish the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quest lines). --Nephele 16:58, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

Ouch, sounds like you made a little mistake with your save files :| Hopefully you're not too frustrated right now ;) You could look on the bright side: now you get to play the game all over again! --Nephele 17:47, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Yeah, I probably should have seen it coming. I finished almost every quest, so I guess it's not all bad. My other character's more interesting, anyway. Nufy8 17:53, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Shivering Race categoriesEdit

Just a heads-up - I'm suggesting that for Shivering Isles NPCs, we use singular race categories, i.e. Shivering-Breton, rather than Shivering-Bretons. This makes things easier for the NPC templates when they get implemented later. I know Oblivion uses plural names, and this is actually my fault as I set those categories up in the first place months ago. But this causes some unnecessary confusion with the NPC Summary template, and as soon as that template is fully implemented on all Oblivion NPCs, we plan to change the categories to singular. (A fairly simple matter once the template is used on all pages.) Just letting you know so we do it right from the beginning this time and avoid running into trouble later. --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:02, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

Okay, sorry, but I just changed it again. I've created a trail to use on Shivering NPC pages. This will save you some typing, and also add breadcrumb trails at the top, and put the names into the categories under the correct letters instead of all under 'S'. So now, instead of using categories, just include the following at the top of the page:
{{Shivering NPC Trail|Race}}
Replacing "Race" with the NPC's race, in singular form. Categories like Merchants and Spell-Merchants still have to be done manually for now. I'll bug Nephele about making a more complete template later. This should work for now. --TheRealLurlock Talk 15:46, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
Okay, thanks. Nufy8 15:51, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

Sharing Vandal Info with WikipediaEdit

We're having problems with an anonymous IP editor who seems to have access to a large number of proxy IPs, see UESPWiki:Administrator Noticeboard#Proxy Vandalism. He also seems to have also hit Wikipedia, i.e. Wikipedia:User_talk:200.238.102.170, and is perhaps the Wikipedia editor William Mauco [1]. Since you're a Wikipedia administrator, I was wondering whether you know of any way to share information with Wikipedia about this vandal, so we could perhaps together create a more complete list of IP addresses that he uses. We're just searching for ways to deal with this vandal a bit more proactively. Thanks! --NepheleTalk 00:05, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
