Thanks, Forfeit!Edit

I've used UESPWiki for the last couple of years of playing Skyrim. It's nice to be in at the ground floor of ESO, and be able to contribute my notes to something that's been so useful to me. I look forward to helping with whatever I can.

No problem! I'm glad you like the site and have decided to help out! I'm sure you will find plenty of ways to contribute with all the information that will need to be added for ESO. Forfeit (talk) 19:59, 23 March 2014 (GMT)

Image fulfillmentEdit

Hi and thanks for the image fulfillment. For some reason I hadn't seen it, possibly I added an image req. so it wasn't then shown on watchlist. If there are any others you could possibly help me with that would be hugely appreciated. How did you find it being sorted by hold? Thanks again. Biffa (talk) 08:11, 27 June 2014 (GMT)

No problem! I might do some more house interiors eventually for Skyrim, but I'm focusing more on Oblivion images right now since, unlike Skyrim, I don't have massive lag when playing Oblivion on high settings. As for dividing it by hold, it seems like a good idea especially if someone wanted to focus on fulfilling a bunch of requests for one area. It certainly also helps organize things since you have so many requests. Speaking of that, keep up the great work on all the place and house pages! :) Forfeit (talk) 19:53, 27 June 2014 (GMT)

Mini-modding?Edit

You say that the admins should be making decisions, but could a non-admin make a decision if there were no active admins around? Also is it "mini-modding" to make a decision as a non-admin? I haven't seen (as far as I'm aware of) a rule about mini-modding. What do you think? DG#:) 19:23, 15 December 2014 (GMT)

Administrators make decisions on Featured Articles based on this. In the case of this, there is no point for a non-administrator to make a decision on this if there is not an active administrator around in my opinion. This is largely due to the fact that only admins can edit the main page, so even if this nomination was closed by a non-administrator the new article could still not be placed on the main page. At least, this is my assumption as to why you wanted to call consensus on the nomination, so the new FA could be placed on the main page. As for this in general, I think it's best to wait for an administrator to do what is needed of them rather than "mini-modding". There are enough active admins on the site right now that I simply don't think this is necessary. This was discussed to an extent a while ago here, so you may wish to read this to understand why this is typically not desired. As mentioned by Eshe in this conversation, if something that requires an admin has been ignored for a while, it's best to just contact an active admin about it. Thank you, Forfeit, this explains it a lot. — DG#:) 19:48, 15 December 2014 (GMT)
