I have moved the Ayleid blade from the catacombs to the room adjacent to the vestry for study. To keep it from the sight of nosy acolytes when I'm not working with it, I have hidden it in a concealed compartment, requiring a simple ritual to open. Should you ever need to retrieve the blade without me around, here are the instructions: First, you need to arrange a circle of ritual candles on the altar, using just enough to match the number of the Lady's sacred Day. In the center of the circle place some prismatic shards, using just enough to match the number of the Lady's sacred Month. Finally, light the candles and sprinkle it with the amount of Auroran dust equivalent to just enough standard portions to match the number of arms in the Lady's sacred Emblem.
