Making PagesEdit
Hi, I am very new to this site and I was wondering if you would be able to offer any tips or advice in making pages. I have made an attempt to start a page for the summonable creatures in the Shivering Isles but so far it hasn't turned out well. To boot I don't know where I can find all the information or images I need to complete the page. If you could help me I would really appreciate it. (Gadianzero 08:11, 30 December 2008 (EST))
- If you're making a page, make sure it's a decent amount of info. If there's something that's missing, make sure you tag it as needing improvement with the appropriate tag. Any specific questions? --GuildKnightTalk2me 01:10, 9 January 2009 (EST)

Redirect PageEdit
Hi Guildknight, I was wondering if you could tell me how to change a redirect link. I created an indiviual lore page for someone but I keep getting redirected to the People article on them. Thanks! (Gadianzero 23:46, 20 January 2009 (EST))
- What page are you referring to? --GuildKnightTalk2me 00:31, 21 January 2009 (EST)
-
- The Alessia page. You can see the lore article I want to put up here. I still have to add links and do a final grammer check. (Gadianzero 01:47, 21 January 2009 (EST))

- Option 1 is to click on this link, which will take you directly to Alessia's redirect page. Or else, the more general way to edit a redirect is: when you follow the standard link to Lore:Alessia, scroll up to the top of the page and notice the link in the upper left corner that says "(Redirected from Lore:Alessia)". Clicking on that link will take you to the redirect page itself.
- Once you're on the redirect page, simply edit it like any other article. Click on the edit link; delete the "#REDIRECT ...." text to get rid of the redirect and instead enter your new text. --NepheleTalk 16:49, 21 January 2009 (EST)

- Ditto ;) When a link "redirects" you to another page, you can always find the link to the "raw" page at the top, in small print, just beneath "The UESPWiki — Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995". --GuildKnightTalk2me 20:03, 21 January 2009 (EST)

Image deletionEdit
Just so you know, it's perfectly acceptable to just delete your own image that you uploaded for your own userpage. No need to go through the whole proposed deletion process for that. --TheRealLurlock Talk 19:06, 4 February 2009 (EST)
- Cool, thanks. --GuildKnightTalk2me 19:11, 4 February 2009 (EST)
Frostcrag Spire GlitchEdit
The Sigil stone glitch for that matter.
Deleting the plug-in for Xbox 360, does that remove all bought items that was bought to upgrade the house, and thus, making you 'rebuy' the whole thing over? Or do they just go on hold because of the save. Including the candles (I placed them on the alters already). Just curious. Hope I can get a quick response. Grimsine 22:25, 5 March 2009 (EST)
- Just answering off the top of my head, without any research; I'm pretty sure that you'll have to purchase all your upgrades again... you'll also lose anything that you're storing in the tower. --GuildKnightTalk2me 00:08, 6 March 2009 (EST)

moneyEdit
Hi i have read the money making page and i still dont know the best way to make quick "dosh" can you please inform me. — Unsigned comment by 86.168.164.171 (talk) on 21 March 2009
- Although it is pretty much explained on the Making Money page, I'll still answer the question. The three most profitable activities are Dungeon Diving, Alchemy and Stealing. The most important factor is your character choice: an agressive one for dungeons, a peaceful alchemist or a thief... It's really up to you. --SerCenKing 08:38, 21 March 2009 (EDT)
