Vertical Spacing ProblemsEdit

It seems that MediaWiki is too smart for its own good! If you use Notice within another template MediaWiki adds an extra blank link in front of the template so code like {{Warning|Test}}{{Warning|Test}} works. Stupidly this adds unwanted blank lines to your page. User:Uniblab's user page is a good example- the space between some messages was different.

I researched it and Wikipedia worked around the problem by using an HTML table, so I did the same. The advantage to this is that there's no spacing issue and code like {{Warning|Test}}{{Warning|Test}} works even though the table tags start and end on the same line. ‒ JoramTalk 07:09, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
