Template:Clear redirects here. Can somebody tell me what {{clear}} is used for, if anything? I saw it in a recent edit, and can't tell what it does. --Xyzzy^Talk 19:43, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

Its merely a redirect, to save you typing NewLine out - it has the exact same effect, to be honest - I don't know why its needed exactly. But its there, so thats that. Its just {{NewLine}} but called {{Clear}}! Hope that helps! --kiz ^talk_email 19:47, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

It's used on Wikipedia and at least some wikia sites, so the redirect likely exists for those who are more familiar with the other name for it. Vely^►t►e 20:12, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
