Detailed WalkthroughEdit
The Slave MarketEdit
The Mundrethi Plantation's Slave Market has several pens holding slaves. One of these pens holds Dur-Juu, an argonian who cries out for help to passers-by. If you pass close enough to Dur-Juu's location, he will greet you and ask you to free him. Farandrano is the altmer overseer watching Dur-Juu's pen, if you talk to him he will ask you to fix Dur-Juu's attitude by talking to him.
Help FarandranoEdit
You have several options to convince Dur-Juu to be an obedient slave. To obtain the best result, you must break his spirit without arousing his suspicion. A high speechcraft skill will help.

If Dur-Juu's suspicion rises to half his disposition plus your speechcraft, he will ask you if the overseer put you up to this. Unless your speechcraft is exceptionally high, this will raise his spirit. If his spirit drops below -50 or he learns you're working for Farandrano, you will not be able to choose further options.
Once you're done talking to Dur-Juu, talk to Farandrano to receive 20 gold. He will tell you to come back for the rest in two days, after he's had time to observe the result.
If you managed to bring Dur-Juu's spirit to below -5, Farandrano will give you 100 gold. If you've managed to bring it below -50, you will receive 100 gold plus an additional gold for each spirit level below that.
Help Dur-JuuEdit
Using the keyEdit
Freeing Dur-Juu requires the Mundrethi Plantation Slave Key. Nadara Llarvan and Lethys Mundrethi both carry this key. It can also be found under a pillow inside the manor. The key alone is not enough, however. While the overseer, Farandrano, is still alive Dur-Juu cannot be freed with the key.
Without the keyEdit
If you unlock the pen and use Command Humanoid to get Dur-Juu out, he will ask you to take him to an Argonian Mission. Taking him to the mission in Ebonheart or the mission in Firewatch will automatically free him and award you 5 faction reputation with the Twin Lamps.
NotesEdit
- Casting Command Humanoid on Dur-Juu will result in a 1000 gold bounty.
- The options to talk about specific slaves are only available if you've met those slaves.
