Demaric Derroltane is a Breton Knight. He proudly proclaims the ruined Windbreaker Keep to be his tower, and his associates to be his retainers. In truth however, he is the leader of a band of smugglers. He is also the bearer of a holy artifact pilfered from the keep's chapel, known as the Ring of Respite. If challenged, he will offer to sell it, but will never be genuine about that offer - you must ultimately kill him to retrieve the item, whether you paid him or not.
