Skyrim talk:Nightshade
SourcesEdit
I found exactly one Nightshade in an apprentice's inventory, and no Nightshade plants, in Wolfskull Cave.(PC)Manhunter28 21:12, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Nightshades not respawningEdit
After picking the flowers in Solitude they did not reappear. The same with many other locations (not all). Strangely they seemed to be replanted for a short while after ending the civil war (stormcloak side) in Solitude. I didnt manage to pick them as they again disappeared after sleeping/leaving town (checked both). Other plants respawned normally (moss, thistle).
I only noticed this as I was doing a lot of alchemical experiments, might be related?

- Yes, I noticed that too. I'm wondering a bit if that is the non-respawning that was apparently intended for Nirnroot (according to loading screen text). --Alfwyn 22:10, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Falkreath Nightshade locationsEdit
I noticed that the list of plants includes these two entries:
- 10 around the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary (Falkreath Hold)
- 5 centered 180 ft WNW of Falkreath (map)
I have been only able to find five plants around the entrance to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary (which is WNW of Falkreath) and there are ten plants in the graveyard around the Hall of the Dead. I was wondering if the "5 centered 180 ft WNW of Falkreath" were the ones around the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary entrance and the other ten were the ones in the graveyard. If this is the case it might be more user friendly if they were listed that way. Coronus 05:29, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Looking in the Creation Kit, it looks like you're right. I see 10 near the Hall of the Dead (map) and 5 near the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary (map). I'll make the change and also get rid of the "feet" measurement, which is at best very difficult to estimate in game. – Robin Hood↝talk 04:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
