If you're stuck on the lighthouse component of this mission and you can't get the timings of the flashes right and you're playing on the DOSBox emulated version then I highly recommend lowering your CPU cycles from 100% to around 5-10%. You can do this by pressing CTRL + F11 until you reach your desired cycles (also applicable if you ever play Arena). Once you have completed this component of the quest press CTRL + F12 to return to 100% CPU cycles. This just slows down the processing of the game allowing you to achieve the timings.
