Slain Adventurers are skeletons wearing Dark Elf style armor. They are the corpses of adventurers who got lost in Crow's Wood, and can be found in several locations in the realm. One can be found in the mouth of Grizzlehide's Cave, and another can be found northwest of the ruined passage. You need to search their corpses for objects if you choose to pay the toll of silver during the related quest.
The Crow's Wood Traveler's Log was written by the Slain Adventurer in Grizzlehide's Cave.
