Maormer attacked an Aldmeri Dominion ship off the coast of Jode's Pocket and captured several members of its crew.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Rescue the crew from the Maormer camps.
  2. Find the First Mate and the Captain.
  3. Burn the Thalmor manifest.
  4. Talk to Valion.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

  • The four seamen are to be found in Maormer camps close by.
  • After finding the four, you'll be asked to go after the First Mate and Captain. Only the First Mate can be found as yet, and he says it's also important to go after the Thalmor shipping manifest, and burn it to prevent it falling into enemy hands. It's on the shipwrecked ship: access is up a rope ladder on the side, and the manifest itself is in a room belowdecks. The ship is crawling with Maormer Sea Vipers, but they haven't found it yet.
  • Once you have burned the manifest, head back up to the top deck, where First Mate Valion has staged something of a fightback and retaken the wreckage. Unfortunately it will never sail again, and thus he sends you on the next quest, which is to find the Captain.

NotesEdit

  • The captive sailors won't exist at the beach camps before starting the quest.
  • The captured Sea Viper on the ship lacks a nameplate.

BugsEdit

  • First Mate Valion simply vanishes instead of running off after being freed from the cage. ?
  • The shipping manifest book briefly disappears before being burned. ?

Shipwrecked Sailors
Finishes Quest Journal Entry
A survivor of the attack asked me to rescue the remaining crew members from their Maormer captors. They've been taken to camps along the beach.
Objective: Rescue the Striker
Objective: Rescue the Quartermaster
Objective: Rescue the Bosun
Objective: Rescue the Carpenter
I rescued the crew members, but the first mate and captain weren't among them. They must still be held nearby. I need to find them.
Objective: Rescue the First Mate and Captain
The Maormer kept the first mate in a cage, but I've freed him from his prison. He may know where to find the captain.
Objective: Talk to First Mate Valion
I need to find the Thalmor fleet manifest in the ship's hold and destroy it, so the Maormer don't learn about the Thalmor shipping routes.
Objective: Burn the Thalmor Fleet Manifest
I destroyed the Thalmor fleet manifest, keeping it out of Maormer hands for good. I should see if First Mate Valion has located the captain while I've been belowdecks.
Objective: Find First Mate Valion
Finishes quest  It looks like First Mate Valion caught a Maormer on the ship and is interrogating him. I should see what he's learned about the captain.
Objective: Talk to First Mate Valion

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
