The Shade of the Grove is the first champion of Hircine found in Vateshran Hollows, where it can be found blessing the various creatures found within, making them invulnerable. It does not however have a physical form, but the creatures it blesses can be seen with a yellow outline.
She serves as the first boss battle, where she takes control of three Lurchers, Marbana, Rofsuta, and Saagranth.
