"Well, you look no worse for the wear. Are you feeling all right? Maybe I can use you."
"Well, you look no worse for the wear. Feeling all right? Maybe I can use you."
(?)
"There's an illness. You haven't been infected yet? Good.
The flesh colossi and hoarvors are spreading a disease. Incredibly deadly, highly infectious, and completely unknown to me. I need to learn more about it if I expect to find a cure."
(?)
"You'd volunteer for such a task? I'm impressed.
I need pure samples of the diseased fluid in order to brew an antiserum. It appears to seep out of the festering necrotic sacs on the creatures' bodies.
I need you to bring me those sacs."
(?)
"Unfortunately, the water has dilluted [sic] the beasts' excretions.
The good news is that the discarded flesh here has become far less hazardous. The bad news is that the entire water supply has been contaminated."

You could have asked her about her profession during the flesh sac quest.

"I believe that each flesh colossus has several of the sacs I need. Necrotic hoarvor have only one apiece.
Whichever is easiest for you to find and slay; it makes no difference to me. The sacs are basically the same. Good luck."
(?)
"I suppose my attire gave it away, eh?
Yes, I am the senior necrologist here in the Imperial City. Or at least I was before all of this happened."
Necrologist?
"Yes. It's a highly specialized field dealing in toxins and infectious diseases that derive from dead creatures raised through necromancy.
Raising the dead is a powerful but highly unstable science. When it goes wrong, I'm there to advise."
That's a very specific role.
"You'd be surprised how often it comes up. Or maybe you wouldn't. You've been 'round the gravestone more than once, I'm sure.
Anyway, it's serendipitous that I was here … for everyone else, I guess."
Why can't you take samples from here? / So why can't you just take the samples from here?
"Unfortunately, the water has diluted the beasts' excretions.
The good news is that the discarded flesh here has become far less hazardous. The bad news is that the entire water supply has been contaminated."
(?)
"I certainly wouldn't drink it if that's what you're asking. Unless of course you want to volunteer as a test case.
Worst case scenario you contract morbid necrotitis. I'll spare you the details. Suffice it to say there's a lot of … fluid involved."
How bad is it?
"I'm withholding judgment until I complete my analysis of the pure specimens from the necrotic sacs."

Bringing her specimens to her:

"Welcome back. Did you acquire those specimens for me?"
(?)
(?)

Speaking to her after any of her daily quests:

"I do hope you washed your hands thoroughly. You might also want to put on a different set of clothes. And clean your weapons ….
In fact, you should probably just burn all your possessions and start fresh. I need a healthy assistant."
"I don't mean to be rude, but I have a lot of work to do. A lot of repulsive work.
Don't stray far though. I suspect I'll need more specimens soon."
"These sacs are helpful, but I'll almost certainly need more before my study is complete. Please, check in from time to time. I may have more work for you."

Speaking to her when she has another daily quest for you:

"Ah, my erstwhile assistant returns. Excellent."
"I am sorry to send you out into harm's way once more, but … well … I've got to send you back out into harm's way. Sorry."
"Ah, thank Mauloch you've returned. My experiments are going well, but I'm afraid I've been a little overzealous."
"I've made headway, but I'm running perilously low on specimens. I'll need more necrotic sacs to continue. Will you find more for me?"
