The Rusty Sphere is an incomplete Dwarven Sphere in Port Hunding that Rulorn has been trying to get working for weeks. It is found rolled up, and Rulorn will ask you to bring him some missing parts to finish it.
During the quest, Rulorn will ask you to help him activate the Dwarven Sphere, which he repaired using the parts you gathered. When you hit the control lever to activate it, it will sputter and bring the Dwarven sphere to "life" before going dormant again. Rulorn will seem satisfied with the results and can't wait to tell Neramo.
