Lost Spirits are ghosts who can be found in Bahraha's Gloom, in the chamber with the sealed door that unlocks after you defeat several waves of them.
After enough spirits are defeated, their energy powers up the remains of a Defiled Aegis in the room that must be destroyed to finally unlock the door.
