Lauron is a High Elf found dead at the Old S'ren-ja Docks. Sapila mentions that the Clanmother gave Lauron permission to "play" with the crocodiles at the docks. This "playing" was actually Lauron trying to achieve magical mastery over the minds of crocodiles. He is responsible for the deaths of two people from the town of S'ren-ja, whom he purposefully commanded his crocodiles to kill.
His unfortunate end came about when he attempted to master a Daedra, and he summoned a daedroth who promptly burned him to a fine crisp. His summon is lurking in the fetid waters near his corpse. Lauron's journal can be found next to him.
