Jerensi was an Imperial. He is mentioned in Waited as Long as We Could, a letter present in Cyrodiil. He and his friend Vibius Generidius grew up in a small town outside Fort Aleswell, and moved to the City to see new things. Vibius (also mentioned in the aforementioned letter) was killed by Daedra in the Elven Gardens.

- "I grew up in a little village outside Fort Aleswell. I couldn't wait to get away. As soon as my parents would let me—and they weren't at all happy about it—my friend Vibius and I left for the city."
- Where's Vibius?
- "A scamp in the Elven Gardens burned him to death. Strange, the two things Vibius was most scared of were fire and scamps. He had nightmares about either or both every night. Ironic, eh?"
- What will you do now?
- "Soon as I get up the courage, I'm going to make a run for it. Try to get out of the city and back to Fort Aleswell and my parents. They'll be happy to see me again, I'm sure. If they're still alive and still in the village."

- "Still in the village, I hope. As soon as I can get out of here, I'm going back. If they're not there, I'll find them. I'm sure my mother would have left me a note if they had to leave."
