Ilwen

Ilwen is a High Elf who can be found in Cropsford. Though many people find him irritating, he currently works for the Prefect by keeping an eye on how people are feeling.

His former work involved treasure hunting but he stopped that once the ruins he searched became infested with undead.

DialogueEdit

If the Aldmeri Dominion controls Drakelowe Keep, he will remark,

"Good to see Dominion troops in Cropsford. I feel safer with armed Altmer around."

If the Pact controls the Keep he will instead say:

"I don't trust the Pact one bit. Dunmer have always been the black sheep of Elves."

If the Covenant controls the Keep he will instead say:

"I never expected to see Covenant soldiers in Cropsford. Not sure how I feel about that yet.", or, "The Covenant moved in when they took Drakelowe. As long as they don't make me work, we'll get along."
What do you do around here?
"Why does everyone ask me that? I'm Prefect Antias's eyes and ears out here, since she seldom stirs from her house. I keep everyone's spirits up, make sure they're all happy and productive, and so on. A lot safer than my last job."
What was that?
"Treasure hunter. I used to comb the ruins of Culotte, an Ayleid ruin west of here, for artifacts to sell. But that place has gotten a lot more dangerous lately. I almost died last time I went in there."
What happened?
"Unbeknownst to me, hordes of undead decided to suddenly haunt the ruins. I went trotting in, soiled my trousers when I saw what was there, and just barely escaped with my life. I'm never leaving this village again."

ConversationsEdit

As he walks around town he will occasionally be overheard speaking with various residents.

Ilwen: "Hey there, Lorene. Busy as usual, eh?"
Lorene Menillet: "At least I work sometimes, Ilwen, unlike you. Go make yourself useful for a change."
Ilwen: "Farewell."
Ilwen: "Make sure you get that wine stain out of my shirt, Swifty. I want to wear it this weekend."
Swift-Tail: "Your hands are idle, as always, Ilwen. Feel free to wash it yourself."
Ilwen: "That old cart broken again? Long past time you two bought a new one."
Faustina Papus: "You know Larus. He thinks he can fix anything."
Ilwen: "See you later."
