- Hednor: "Deceive and strike. The way of the Snake is dark and calculated. Remember this."
He walks off without another word.

You can speak to him before Glaras gives instructions:
- "Now is not the time for us to speak. Listen to the words of Glaras."
While trying to touch the Brackenleaf's heart, Hednor and his Spirit Snake will try to stop you. He will either say:
- Hednor: "Death is nothing, Outsider. The only thing that matters is Brackenleaf's survival!"
- Hednor: "Outsider, you'll not get past me!"
- Hednor: "Leave this place! You are not welcome!"
Return to the village and he'll casually say:
- "You've been gone awhile."
