The Child of Bones is a unique Bone Colossus found in the Wailing Prison. It is summoned by Molag Bal at The Anchor Mooring in an attempt to hinder the Prophet's escape from Coldharbour. It drops the Collar of Bones when killed.

- Strike
- A basic melee attack that deals moderate physical damage.
- Bone Saw
- The Child of Bones stomps its foot into the ground, indicated by a red cone, dealing moderate physical damage and staggering affected targets. Blocking negates the stagger.
- Summon Grandchild of Bones
- The Child of Bones summons a single Grandchild of Bones to fight alongside it. It will summon one again if the previous one is killed.
- Bone Ward
- When a Grandchild of Bones is killed, the Child of Bones enshrouds itself in a ward comprised of necrotic energy and shards of bone which gives it a small damage shield.

- A large area is formed where skeleton hands tries to grab targets over them. It deals continuous minor magic damage and snares targets hit.

- The Child of Bones replaced the Anchor Guardian as Molag Bal's summon with the release of Update 6.
- The Child of Bones was granted unique combat abilities sometime after Necrom released. Before then, it used generic bone colossus abilities.
